All physical trade shows, including the National Arts and Crafts Fair (NACF), have been cancelled due to the COVID -19 pandemic. Now more than ever, marketing support is needed by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially the artisans and Indigenous People (IPs).
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion, with the support of the DTI Regional and Provincial Offices, and in partnership with CustomMade Crafts Center, Inc. and UnionBank (UB) GlobalLinker, is launching the NACF Artisanal Shop to continuously promote the products of the indigenous people (IPs) of the Philippines and help them sustain their business operations in these challenging times. Since 2016, the Office of then Senator Loren Legarda has provided support for the NACF in line with her advocacy to promote Philippine cultural heritage and living traditions.
It is high time to bring the artisanal products online through the NACF Artisanal Shop powered by UnionBank GlobalLinker featuring the finest collection of authentic and intricately designed heritage crafts by the IPs, local weavers and artisans.
